Shanti Conlan is a graduate of Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, and is held in private and institutional collections nationally and internationally.

Working in the mediums of printmaking, drawing, painting, and collage, Conlan creates images that capture both the physical and intangible forces of the natural world. Her work is a visual interpretation of these forces, from geological formations and oceanic currents, to the movement and interaction of celestial bodies. The work shifts in focus from the macro to the micro, examining the multiple worlds within worlds.

Shanti’s work is available to view in the gallery and at ELLIO’s booth at the Affordable Art Fair from October 16 through October 18, 2026.
